Since 1993, the Central Montana Medical Center Foundation has been supporting the vision and mission of Central Montana Medical Center (CMMC) by investing our donors’ generosity into the finest award winning frontier hospital in Montana.
CMMC is located in Lewistown, uniquely located in the middle of the state, surrounded by five beautiful mountain ranges. We are incredibly over 100 miles away from the next hospital. No matter how remote. No matter what cost. CMMC is all-about taking care of our neighbors, our family.
Our work at CMMC would not be possible without the careful stewardship and administration of charitable funds and planned gifts entrusted to us. A new emergency department and laboratory was built in 2015 with support of $1.3 million from donors to the Foundation. Over $300,000 from the Foundation will soon rectify a centralized registration area to better serve our customers and their families. $250,000 from Hospice donations helped remodel two beautiful private rooms in the hospital for our terminally ill and their beloved families. The Foundation not only helps purchase medical equipment, enhance program services and support building upgrades, but, we grant dollars outside our campus walls, too. Often times, you hear us buying equipment for rural ambulance services, or donating to other non-profit charities seeking medical assistance.
CMMC Foundation not only helps build and strengthen CMMC, but brings together people that want to make a positive impact for their hospital, their town, their community.
The mission of Central Montana Medical Center Foundation is to advocate confidence in, and support of the health services, programs and practitioners of Central Montana.
