Since 1993, the Medical Center Foundation has been supporting Central Montana Medical Center (CMMC) by investing our donors generosity into the finest award winning frontier critical access hospital in Montana.
Our Foundation work at CMMC would not be possible without our faithful donors, and the careful management of funds and planned gifts entrusted to us. We are grateful for the generous donations totaling $1.3 million that helped build our new emergency department and laboratory in 2015. $50,000 from Hospice donations recently helped remodel two beautiful private rooms in the hospital for our terminally ill patients and their families. The Foundation received $320,000 in total donations in year 2018, ending with a balance of $2.6 million. The Foundation not only helps purchase medical equipment, enhance program services and support building upgrades at CMMC, we also grant dollars outside off campus too. Often times you hear the Foundation purchasing equipment for rural ambulance services, education training mannequins for the lifeguards at the city pool or AED’s for Central Montana Head Start or donating to other non-profit charities seeking health-related assistance.
The Foundation is essential in helping with the hospital’s financial stability. The economic welfare for many frontier Montana communities is knowing that a hospital is close by, and will thrive. CMMC Foundation not only helps strengthen CMMC, but brings together people to make a positive impact for their hospital, town and communities.

Support the Foundation
Because Central Montana Medical Center is non-profit and not supported by local taxes, we rely on the Central Montana community for support. That support comes in two forms – using our services and your donations. Charitable gift annuities and charitable trusts can help you support the mission of CMMC, provide income for you and your loved ones, and reduce income and estate taxes. Consult your attorney or financial advisor.
Stocks and other property
Gifts of appreciated securities offer tax advantages including forgiveness of the tax on capital gain and an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities. You also can make gifts of property such as real estate, life insurance, retirement accounts, works of art, jewelry and valued collections. In Memory or Honor
When making your gift, indicate the name of person you wish to honor or gift in memory of. We will send notification of your generous remembrance to the individual honored/memorialized. See our on-line or printable form.
Designating Your Gift
You may state the purpose for which you would like CMMC to use your gift. For example: Hospice, Endowment, E.R.
Receipts
To confirm that we receive your gift and for tax purposes, we will send you a letter documenting the gift amount.
