The Caregivers of Dementia Support Group’s purpose is to give support, information, skills, venting and coaching for people that are caring for or have a person in their life that has dementia.  The coaching is to help people to better communicate with and support people that have cognitive dysfunction or memory problems.  Support is available for loved ones with dementia during support group gatherings.

Where: First Christian Church
When:  Every 3rd Wednesday of the month
Time:  10:30 a.m.. to 11:30 a.m.
Format:  15-20 minutes education on specific topic with rest of time spent as a facilitated group discussion.

  • Finding resources in the community to support individuals with dementia
  • Socializing
